KATHARINE ROSS who starred in both THE GRADUATE and THE STEPFORD WIVES made startling claims in legal filing – that her own daughter tied to kill her with a pair of scissors!
According to the papers, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Katharine, 71, and her daughter Cleo were at the family home in Malibu on March 2, when Cleo, 26, "suddenly lost her temper and began to threaten me.
"She said, ‘I want to kill you.’"
Katharine alleges in the filing she attempted a 911 call but Cleo took a pair of scissors and cut the phone line.
She then "jabbed" Katharine in the arm with the scissors six times — producing blood.
In the legal docs, Katharine alleges her daughter has been physically violent and verbally abusive since she was 12 or 13 years old.
Superior Court judge granted a restraining order.
The court order dictates that move out of the family home Katharine shares with hubby actor Sam Elliot and to stay a minimum of at least 100 yards away from her distraught mother.
