Four years after GARY COLEMAN’s death at age 42, the “Diff’rent Strokes” star’s ashes are locked away from his ex-wife – and the world!
“Gary Coleman’s final resting place will be a secret,” his friend Anna Gray exclusively told The National ENQUIRER.
Anna, who also ran Gary’s corporation, was named executor and beneficiary of his will after a legal battle against his ex-wife Shannon Price.
Shannon claimed the star had signed a handwritten codicil altering his 2005 will that named her sole heir and executor.
A judge didn’t agree and Anna claimed his remains in 2012. “After a two-year court battle, I brought Gary’s ashes back to Oregon,” Anna told The ENQUIRER. “I have yet to choose a final resting place, but when I do, I will never share it with anyone – not even my husband.
“Gary’s last and most horrible fear was that even in death he wouldn’t be allowed any peace.” Shannon asked Anna for half of Gary’s ashes after the court battle.
“No way,” said Anna. “That is not what Gary would have wanted. Gary wanted a peaceful life. In death I am going to give him that peace.”
