Russell Crowe reportedly exploded and “stormed off” an Aussie movie set after the caterer ran out of rice!
Sources said that the volatile Oscar winner — who was once accused of throwing a phone at a Manhattan hotel worker because his call to Australia wouldn’t go through — flew into the rice rage while shooting “The True History of the Kelly Gang” in the Australian state of Victoria.
Following his blowup, said a source, a bigwig reportedly sent the film crew “text messages warning them of Russell’s mood.”
Russell himself, however, is staying mum on the incident — but always insisted that the phone story was bull!
