Paula Barbieri Portrait Session
Paula Barbieri was no stranger to the spotlight as a Victoria’s Secret model but now she avoids it like the plague! Once a hard-partying starlet in the 1990s,
O.J. Simpson’s
ex-galpal prefers a much quieter life these days.

On June 12, 1994, the day
Nicole Brown Simpson and
Ron Goldman were brutally slaughtered, Paula left O.J. a phone message explaining they were through and that she was jetting off to Las Vegas to be with singer
Michael Bolton. While that phone call was largely ignored during The Juice’s
criminal case, it was brought up in his 1997 civil suit.

Paula, now 49, admitted to bringing thousands of dollars and Juice’s passport to the home of lawyer Robert Kardashian, where he was holing up. Paula was bombarded with questions, including whether O.J. had ever been physically abusive toward her or bad-mouthed his ex-wife. She said he had never done either.

Now, she’s back in public view after her character’s prominent appearance in “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson,” in which she is played by leggy beauty Angie Patterson.

But before the explosive mini-series debuted, Paula was living in relative anonymity as a Florida housewife with a 12-year-old daughter and a husband — who is a judge! “I don’t think many people in the community have any idea [Paula] was [O.J.’s] girlfriend, and I don’t think she would want it known,” said a neighbor.

Back in 1997, during an interview with Larry King, she was asked point-blank if she thought O.J. was a cold-blooded killer. “I’m choosing not to look further into making a decision one way or another, and I ask people’s forgiveness on that,” she responded.
