This time, the Jubilee Auditorium in Canada was quickly evacuated, and Meat Loaf was rushed to a nearby hospital. Reps say that he collapsed due to "severe dehydration," and is now "responsive and recovering well."

The latest low point for Mr. Loaf isn't anything new to troubled associates. The star collapsed onstage in London during a 2003 concert, and passed out again during a 2011 show where he insisted on going back out to do more songs. "It was painful to see," said one longtime pal. Even worse, the collapse in 2011 was part of a disastrous tour where Meat Loaf was frequently out of breath and barely able to carry a tune.

"It was the first tour where even the hardcore fans were complaining that Meat couldn't pull off a show anymore," said an insider. "He was coming off 'Celebrity Apprentice,' too, and everyone began to treat him like a joke!"

Meat Loaf has made tons of money since a spectacular comeback in 1993 — but he's also obsessed with success after his career bottomed out after becoming a star with 1977's "Bat Out of Hell."
