Oscar winning actress CELESTE HOLM, has died at age 95 at her home in New York.

Celeste who won an Oscar for her role in the searing film about anti-semitism “Gentleman’s Agreement” and nabbed another two other noms for “Come to the Stable “ and “All About Eve” died at home after suffering a heart attack.

Holm's career spanned more than 50 years — originating the role of Ado Annie — the girl who just can’t say no in the stage musical of “Oklahoma!” to Bette Davis’ best friend in “All About Eve” to guest shots on TV including “Fantasy Island” and “Love Boat II”. She also memorably costarred in the TV production of "Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella" with Leslie Ann Warren.

She was first admitted to Roosevelt Hospital in New York for dehydration but suffered a heart attack while in the hospital.

Holm’s much younger husband, Frank Basile, 49, had said, “I am taking her home to love her and to comfort her and to make these days as peaceful as possible.

"I told her I wanted to have more good memories together, and she held me and, she said, ‘That’s a good memory.’

Celeste was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease in 2002.
